Limit the Subjects in SPM

Basically this is a good move by the government to ensure that all students will have an equal chance to obtain scholarships. Edunovice strongly believes that there is no meaning for students to compete for WHO get the MOST A's in order to secure a scholarships......

>PUTRAJAYA: Students sitting for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination may not be allowed to take as many subjects as they like in future to make the scholarship selection process fairer.

Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the Government might limit the number of subjects taken by students in the SPM for fairer Public Service Department (PSD) scholarship

The Climb for Success

English and Math awaitin for Muhyidin Final words.

The latest news and debate for Math and Science to be taught in Bahasa Melayu or English is still under discussion. The government is looking to finalized the decision soon. However, I urged parents not to worried about weather Math or Science to be introduce in English or Bahasa Melayu as the implementation will be on phases.

The Education Ministry under its new minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is willing to listen to more views and accept memoranda on the issue before deciding whether the subjects should be taught in English or revert to Bahasa Malaysia and mother tongue (Chinese and Tamil).
